McDonald’s Unveils Its Massive Overseas Innovation Hub In Hyderabad
CHICAGO, IL — A massive new building was opened in Hyderabad on October 29, as McDonald’s officially inaugurated its largest overseas facility, a sprawling Global Capability Centre in Hitec City.
Spanning 1.56 lakh square feet, the state-of-the-art center is now the single biggest McDonald’s office outside the United States. It is poised to serve as the company’s Global Hub for Innovation and Enterprise Operations, driving key corporate functions such as technology, data analytics, finance, and other strategic operations critical to McDonald’s worldwide business.
The facility is expected to directly employ over 1,200 skilled professionals, while also generating a ripple effect across allied sectors including commercial real estate, logistics, and professional services, boosting economic activity in the region.
State officials highlighted the launch as a major milestone for Hyderabad, reinforcing its reputation as a preferred destination for global technology and business hubs.

And we will have more restaurants selling non-vegetarian junk food. The global hub is just a beginning targetting a large population.

I don’t lean on the Indian govt. too much on other issues but it should follow through on Modi’s initiative for cold drinks mfgrs. to voluntarily blend fruit juice in their aerated drinks that has been implemented by FSSAI. Sugar content in drinks should be capped and safe alternatives used. Corn sugar should be eliminated.
