Mindy Kaling’s Comedy Series ‘Not Suitable For Work’ Picked Up By Hulu

LOS ANGELES, CA – Hulu has ordered Mindy Kaling’s new comedy series, ‘Not Suitable for Work,’ which follows five young professionals balancing their careers and personal lives in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood.

Originally developed under the title ‘Murray Hill,’ the show received commitment from the streaming service in April 2024. Kaling is the creator, writer, and executive producer, working alongside longtime collaborator Charlie Grandy.

 Grandy has previously teamed up with Kaling on ‘The Mindy Project’ and ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls.’ Howard Klein of 3 Arts Entertainment is also an executive producer. Warner Bros. Television, where both Kaling and Grandy have overall deals, is producing the series.

Casting details have yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Kaling’s other projects include ‘Running Point,’ set to premiere on Netflix, while ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ on Max is awaiting a renewal decision for its fourth season.
