Mouni Roy Asks Media To Stop Divorce Reports

MUMBAI -Actress Mouni Roy has requested privacy and space amid ongoing rumors of her separation from husband Suraj Nambiar. The actress also urged media houses not to publish false narratives.

Mouni wrote, “Humbly requesting all the media houses to not publish false narratives and give us space and privacy. Please,” along with folded hands emojis on the post.

Rumors about trouble in Mouni and Suraj’s marriage surfaced on May 11 after social media users noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other online. A recent report also claimed that the couple were already separated and not living together.

On the morning of May 12, as speculation around Mouni and Suraj’s relationship intensified, Suraj appeared to deactivate his Instagram account. “Sorry, this page isn’t available,” read the message displayed when users attempted to access his account.

Actress Disha Patani, who is also Mouni’s close friend, had reportedly unfollowed Suraj on Instagram before his account was allegedly deactivated.

Mouni and Suraj got married in Goa in 2022 in an intimate ceremony held according to both Malayali and Bengali traditions. (IANS)
