Nawazuddin & Rahul Bhat Ham It Up At The MET In New York
NEW YORK, NY (IANS)- Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rahul Bhat recently shared a lighthearted moment during their visit to The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The MET) in New York.
A video posted by Bhat on his Instagram suggests they thoroughly enjoyed their time. The clip opens with Bhat observing, “Look, brother, our country’s goods are here, from Kashmir to Bihar to South India.” Siddiqui then jokingly asked, “Is this our stuff?” Bhat, with a smile, retorted, “And we’ve come to see our own goods by paying our own money!” The two actors then burst into laughter. Bhat captioned the video, “Couldn’t take the Taj Mahal, so only a photo!”
In other news, Rahul Bhat’s latest film, “Kennedy,” recently premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival. The drama, directed by Anurag Kashyap, received an overwhelming response.
The initial screening of “Kennedy” was a complete sell-out, prompting organizers to add a second show due to high demand. Adding to his accolades, Bhat also received a Best Actor nomination for his portrayal of the titular character.
“Kennedy” previously premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, where it notably received a 7-minute standing ovation from the audience.
