Netflix To Air Docu-Series On India-Pak Cricket Rivalry

LOS ANGELES, CA – The month of February will see Team India in action against England at home in T20Is and ODIs. It will alsobegin the ICC trophy chase when the Champions Trophy kickstarts on February 19, which will feature the high-profile India-Pakistan clash.

Ahead of the showdown, Netflix is launching a gripping docu-series titled The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan. The series delves into the intense drama, passion, and high stakes that define this historic rivalry, offering exclusive insights from cricket legends on both sides of the border. Featuring iconic figures like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sunil Gavaskar, and Shoaib Akhtar, the series will uncover untold stories, including little-known facts about the inaugural India-Pakistan ODI.

The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan will premiere on Netflix on February 7, just in time for the Champions Trophy clash between the two nations on February 23.

Alongside Pakistan, India’s group opponents in the Champions Trophy will include Bangladesh and New Zealand. India will take on Bangladesh on February 20 and New Zealand on March 2, with all their matches likely to be held in Dubai. Meanwhile, defending champions Pakistan will open their campaign against New Zealand in Karachi on February 19, with their final group match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
