Despite speculation, Puck News reported this week that the consensus in Washington is that Vance’s lashes are natural, though some long-time acquaintances believed he might be using eyeliner.

“They’re all natural,” his wife, Usha Vance, confirmed in a statement to an enterprising reporter from Puck. “I’ve always been jealous of those lashes.”

Former President Donald Trump, a known admirer of appearances, has also commented on Vance’s notable eyelashes. The Bulwark noted that Trump has “repeatedly praised his ‘beautiful’ blue eyes and long eyelashes,” amid discussions about the aesthetics of a potential bearded running mate.

Publicly, Trump compared Vance’s look to that of “a young Abraham Lincoln” shortly before selecting him as his running mate.
