Now available in India Twitter Blue with verification costs 650 rupees per month
New Delhi (IANS) According to the company, Twitter’s Blue service with verification would cost Rs 650 a month on the web and Rs 900 on Android and iOS mobile devices in India.
Twitter Blue has expanded in Indonesia, Brazil, and is now available in India.
Twitter also offers a discounted annual plan of Rs 6,800 per year, which translates to approximately Rs 566.67 per month.
With the launch in India, Twitter Blue is also offered in 15 international markets, including Saudi Arabia, the US, Canada, Japan, and the UK.
Twitter recently added six additional nations to its Blue service subscription service.
Twitter relaunched its Blue subscription service with verification in December last year, charging $8 for Android users and $11 for iPhone owners per month globally.
Long tweets of up to 4,000 characters are now possible for Blue subscribers in the US on Twitter.
Twitter Blue subscribers will also see 50 per cent fewer ads in their home timeline.

Musk has now said that all legacy verified accounts will soon lose their Blue badges as those are ‘deeply corrupted’.
Twitter Verification for Organizations is a new service for business entities on Twitter that adds a gold checkmark to official business accounts.
Businesses must pay $1,000 per month to keep their gold badges, and those who do not pay will lose their checkmarks.
