Priyanka Chopra And Zac Efron Reunite For Upcoming Courtroom Comedy

LOS ANELES, CA – Priyanka Chopra is set to return to the big screen in a new comedy film, reuniting with her Baywatch co-star Zac Efron. The yet-untitled project will be directed by Nicholas Stoller, best known for helming hit comedies like Neighbors and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Chopra confirmed her involvement by sharing a screenshot of The Hollywood Reporter‘s announcement on her Instagram Story, giving fans an early look at what’s shaping up to be a high-energy, star-studded production.

Zac Efron will portray a recently released convict who storms into a live courtroom reality TV show and takes it hostage, convinced that the judge—played by comedy veteran Will Ferrell—ruined his life with a past ruling. The plot, originally developed under the working title Judgment Day, blends satire, chaos, and courtroom drama with a comedic twist.

The film is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, which recently collaborated with Stoller on You’re Cordially Invited, starring Reese Witherspoon and Ferrell.

Priyanka is also set to appear in The Bluff, an action feature directed by Frank E. Flowers, and Heads of State, in which she stars alongside John Cena. She is also said to be busy with a Rajamouli film.
