Priyanka Chopra Pulls Out Of Partnership In NY’s Sona Restaurant

NEW YORK, NY – Actress Priyanka Chopra, a founder of the Sona restaurant here, has decided to pull out of the partnership in the venture, reported People magazine.
Maneesh Goyal, the co-founder, and collaborator of Sona, told People that while Priyanka is transitioning away from the business, her influence remains palpable. He mentioned, “her fingerprints [are] all over Sona.” He further elaborated, “While she will no longer be involved as a creative partner moving forward, she remains in the Sona family, and we are excited for our respective new chapters ahead.”
According to statements from Priyanka’s representatives, she reflects on the restaurant with “pride,” and that she is committed to showcasing Indian culture through various mediums, including film, television, and gastronomy.
Sona made its debut in March 2021 amid the challenges posed by Covid-19 restrictions. In 2022, the actress extended the Sona brand by introducing the Sona Home collection of dinnerware, table linens, barware, decor, etc.
