
Raja Krishnamoorthi Faces A Packed Town Hall

SCHAUMBURG, IL – Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) held a town hall at Roosevelt University’s Schaumburg Campus, drawing a crowd of over 300 attendees. The March 19 event filled both the main hall and an overflow space as constituents engaged in discussions on key policy issues.
During the town hall, Krishnamoorthi addressed concerns about proposed Medicaid cuts, efforts to dismantle the Department of Education, and reports of potential job reductions at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He also emphasized his commitment to protecting Medicare, Social Security, and the SNAP program.
The congressman encouraged attendees to stay engaged in policy discussions and advocate for their priorities.
