Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’ Has Fans Gear Up To Make It A Hit
CHENNAI, (ANI) – A Rajinikanth’s film release is nothing short of a celebration. Legions of fans have once again ensure a hit for the star who is now in his 70s. Massive crowds of fans were seen dancing outside theaters in Chennai to the beats of Rajinikanth’s songs and showing their excitement by throwing confetti.
Helmed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions, the star-studded film also included Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami.
In Vettaiyan, Amitabh Bachchan too plays a pivotal character. It marks Bollywood’s icon and superstar’s debut in Tamil cinema.
He is just one more of the stream of Bollywood stars looking to the South where the box office is more robust thanks to better story telling.
‘Vettaiyan’ marks Lyca Productions’ thirtieth venture and serves as Amitabh Bachchan’s debut in Tamil cinema. Anirudh Ravichander serves as the music composer for the film.
Reports say Vettiyan made Rs.80 crore on opening day.
