Ram Gopal Varma Sentenced To 3 Months In Jail

MUMBAI (ANI) – Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been sentenced to three months in jail in connection with a seven-year-old cheque bounce case involving a dispute with an ex-employee over Rs 2.38 lakhs.

Addressing the issue, Varma clarified, “It is about a 7-year-old case related to Rs 2.38 lakhs with an ex-employee. It’s not about settling the amount but about refusing to be exploited in fabricated attempts. That’s all I can say for now, as it’s still in court.”
