Roti Noodles
Rethink dinner! This Roti Noodles recipe offers a delicious, palate-changing surprise.
Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers (red/yellow/green), sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- 4 rotis made with Royal® Chakki Atta
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 pinch chaat masala
- Cilantro to garnish
Preparation
- Make 4 rotis using Royal® Chakki Atta. Set them aside to cool for 6 hours.
- Once cooled, roll the rotis tightly and slice them into thin discs (like cutting a log).
- Unroll the sliced discs and gently separate them. The roti strips will now resemble flat noodles.
- Heat oil in a pan. Sauté the chopped garlic, sliced onions, and bell peppers until tender-crisp.
- Add the roti noodles, chili sauce, and lemon juice to the pan; mix well to combine everything.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, salt, and pepper according to your taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped cilantro.
