Rethink dinner! This Roti Noodles recipe offers a delicious, palate-changing surprise. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (red/yellow/green), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp chili sauce
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 4 rotis made with Royal® Chakki Atta
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch chaat masala
  • Cilantro to garnish

Preparation

  1. Make 4 rotis using Royal® Chakki Atta. Set them aside to cool for 6 hours.
  2. Once cooled, roll the rotis tightly and slice them into thin discs (like cutting a log).
  3. Unroll the sliced discs and gently separate them. The roti strips will now resemble flat noodles.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté the chopped garlic, sliced onions, and bell peppers until tender-crisp.
  5. Add the roti noodles, chili sauce, and lemon juice to the pan; mix well to combine everything.
  6. Sprinkle chaat masala, salt, and pepper according to your taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped cilantro.
