MUMBAI- Film production company Roy Kapur Films has issued a public warning against fake casting calls allegedly circulated by casting director Vineet Lalita Pandey under the company’s name.
On May 22, Roy Kapur Films shared a statement on Instagram informing followers that Pandey was no longer associated with the company and was not authorized to conduct casting activities on its behalf.
“It has come to our notice that a Mr. Vineet Lalita Pandey has been posting false information about casting opportunities for one of our upcoming projects. We wish to clarify that his services as a Casting Director were terminated some time back, and he is no longer associated with Roy Kapur Films in any way,” the production house said.
“He is not authorized to represent our company or any of our projects, and his actions in this regard are fraudulent. The producers or the concerned platform are not reviewing any auditions he has solicited and we are currently not conducting any auditions in Uttar Pradesh,” it added.
The company said all official communication regarding casting opportunities would only be issued through its verified and official channels.
