Saif Ali Khan Returns Home From Hospital

MUMBAI (ANI)- Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital following a stabbing attack at his Bandra residence last week.

Upon his return home, the ‘Hum Tum’ actor greeted the media with a smile and waved as he made his way into his residence. Saif appeared to be in good health, with his wife Kareena Kapoor and sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor spotted at the scene.

In response to the attack, security has been strengthened at Saif’s residence, with additional CCTV cameras installed.

The attack occurred when an intruder, later identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, entered Saif’s home with the alleged intention of theft. During the confrontation, Saif attempted to intervene but was stabbed, suffering wounds to his thoracic spine.

The assailant, who is from the Jhalokati district in Bangladesh, was apprehended at Hiranandani Estate in Thane while attempting to flee to his native village. Following his arrest, Shehzad was taken to multiple locations by the Mumbai Police as part of the investigation to recreate the crime scene.

Saif underwent surgery to treat his injuries, including the removal of a 2.5-inch-long blade. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan has recorded her statement with the Bandra Police regarding the incident, which took place at her residence in the presence of officers.
