Shah Rukh Khan Talks About Working With Aryan And Suhana

MUMBAI- Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan recently hosted his much-loved #AskSRK session on X, where fans flooded him with questions ranging from his children’s professional ventures to his upcoming collaborations with leading actresses Rani Mukerji and Deepika Padukone.

Responding in his trademark witty and endearing style, Shah Rukh delighted fans with candid insights into his family, career, and on-screen partnerships.

When a fan asked if audiences would ever see his son, Aryan Khan, direct him in a full-fledged movie, SRK quipped, ‘If he can afford me!!! And my tantrums.’

Another fan urged him to request Aryan for a second installment of his directorial debut, ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’. To this, Shah Rukh replied, ‘It’s very difficult to tell your children what to do. But I am sure he will be working on it.’Aryan Khan made his directorial debut with the OTT series ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’, which premiered on September 18 and quickly became a hit.

Recalling Aryan’s first public appearance during the show’s launch event, SRK fans fondly remembered the father-son bond that stole the spotlight. Nervous yet witty, Aryan joked about preparing for days and even carrying a torch in case of a teleprompter glitch. The most heartwarming moment came when Aryan said, ‘Aur agar tabhi mujhse koi mistake ho jaye, to papa hai na (If I still go wrong, my father is right here to help).’ Shah Rukh joined in by turning around to reveal Aryan’s speech taped to his back — a moment that went viral and left fans emotional.

During the same #AskSRK session, another fan asked how it felt for SRK to work alongside Suhana Khan and under Aryan’s direction. The actor, brimming with pride, responded, ‘On set I respect them like my colleagues…and appreciate their inputs and hard work. Off set…I just wish and pray their hard work pays off.’ When asked about working with Suhana in ‘King’, he added warmly, ‘Apna apna sa lagta hai (It feels personal).’

Fans also asked SRK about his upcoming projects, including his reunion with Bollywood actresses Rani Mukerji and Deepika Padukone in ‘King’. When a fan mentioned their excitement about his collaboration with Rani, SRK responded affectionately, ‘I love Rani with or without films.’ On being told fans were excited about him teaming up again with Deepika Padukone, he said, ‘Me too haha.’

Although there has been no official confirmation from the makers about Rani’s involvement, reports suggest ‘King’ will see SRK and Deepika reunite under Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures. The first look of the highly anticipated film is expected to drop on November 2, coinciding with Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. (IANS)
