ROBBINSVILLE, NJ -Musician Shankar Mahadevan, along with Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, last week sought divine blessings at the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham here.

Shankar shared a series of photographs from the temple visit on Instagram. He described it as a blessing to begin the tour with the temple visit.

“Blessed to start our tour by visiting the Akshardham Swaminarayan temple at New Jersey! What a soulful experience! I thank all the swamijis and devotees who showered their love and affection on us and we took their blessings.

Shankar is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio, known for composing music for Indian films. His non-film album ‘Breathless’ topped Indian music charts in 1998, and he has won a Grammy Award.

Loy started his career by composing the signature tune for ‘The World This Week’ on Doordarshan and later worked with composers such as A. R. Rahman and Nadeem-Shravan. (IANS)
