MUMBAI- Actress Shehnaaz Gill has shared her candid thoughts on marriage, stating she does not view it as a necessity in today’s time. While she currently has no plans to get married, the actress, whose latest release is ‘Ikk Kudi’, said she would not completely rule out the possibility in the future.

‘Ikk Kudi’, which marks Shehnaaz’s debut as a producer, showcases a girl’s struggle to find the right partner. The film, written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, was released on October 31.

Asked if marriages are important in today’s time, Shehnaaz said, “Marriage is not important. If you don’t have to do it, it’s okay. People get married. It’s okay. Even though I feel that I won’t get married, I can’t say that I will never say never. Maybe, I’ll have to do it tomorrow. I have to make the right decision for myself.”

Shehnaaz, who gained the spotlight with her stint in ‘Bigg Boss 13′, agreed that the decision to marry is a matter of giving up one’s life. “You are giving your entire life to a boy after leaving your parents’ house. You are doing everything for him; it’s a big decision… It’s different. You don’t know who will be your partner. You don’t know. So, let’s see what happens,” she said. (IANS)

  • Raj Kapoor, was the most co-ordinated of the actors. Just watching him in the song “Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega” from “Sangam.” He is playing an accordion, singing, dancing and acting where as his counterparts couldn’t walk and chew paan at the same time!.

“Sangam” (along with “Guide” by Dev Anand) were two of the greatest movies. In “Sangam” everything came together like a jigsaw puzzle. Raj Kapoor had the greatest ensemble of talent: singer Mukesh, lyricists Shailendra and Hasrat, Jaipuri, musicians Shankar-Jaikishan and photographer Radhu Karmarkar.

“Sangam” was a flawless Diamond, a quintessential Jewel, in the Crown of the Indian Cinema.
