SAN JOSE, CA – Raju Chekuri, who leads the California-based cybersecurity and AI firm Netenrich, has made a new investment in Indian sport, backing the Goa Guardians, the latest franchise to join the Prime Volleyball League (PVL).

Himself a former amateur player from Ahmedabad, he said volleyball shaped much of his early life before he left India nearly four decades ago.

The Goa Guardians is co-owned by Indian cricketer KL Rahul.

Through Chekuri Sports Ventures, he now plans to channel resources into sports infrastructure, youth training systems, and media-focused innovation. (ANI)
