Sindhu On Forbes List Of Richest Women Athletes

NEW YORK, NY – Forbes has released its list of Highest-Paid Female Athletes and badminton player P. V. Sindhu is in the 16th position, tying with 26-year-old gymnast Simone Biles.

Sindhu’s net worth is  $7.1 million.

The 28-year-old is a two-time Olympic medalist and the 2019 badminton world champion.

She followed her silver-medal-winning performance in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 with a bronze in Tokyo in 2021, becoming the first Indian woman with two Olympic medals.

She added a slew of sponsors after returning home, including used-car platform Spinny, on top of partners like Li-Ning sportswear and India’s Bank of Baroda.

In 2023, Sindhu expanded her sponsorship portfolio by securing partnerships with Centuary Mattress and American Pistachio Growers.
