LOS ANGELES, CA – Mathangi Arulpragasam, known as M.I.A., endorsed Donald Trump on August 29, following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of the former president after suspending his own presidential campaign. In her endorsement, Arulpragasam posted, “Trump will navigate America through the toughest four years, clearing out issues, while RFK will step in to restore and rebuild when the time is right.”

The Daily Beast reported that Arulpragasam, who has been outspoken against vaccinations, promotes various conspiracy-laden products through her brand Ohmni. Among these are a $200 “protection poncho,” claimed to shield against electromagnetic waves like Wi-Fi and 5G with 99.999% effectiveness, and a $100 “tin foil hat,” crafted from “pure Copper Nickel shielding fabric” to provide similar protection.

In a follow-up post on X, Arulpragasam commented, “Mass migration is challenging for poorer areas, especially since COVID-19 devastated the middle class. The working class now has to absorb both the displaced middle class and new migrants, which is a legitimate concern. Tax funds are caught in a repetitive cycle of war.”

Raised Hindu, M.I.A. disclosed in a 2022 interview that she converted to Christianity in 2017 after experiencing a vision of Jesus Christ.
