Sri Siddheshwar Leads Large Guru Purnima Gathering At Hofstra University

HEMPSTEAD, NY – More than 1,000 people attended a Guru Purnima program led by Sri Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Guruvar on July 18 at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse at Hofstra University on Long Island.

Through his discourse, Sri Siddheshwar urged the audience to embrace a spiritual path, drawing listeners with his engaging oratorical style.

His organization, currently in Tirupati, is developing a new headquarters and ashram on more than 600 acres in Bengaluru. The first major project at the campus will be a state-of-the-art charitable hospital and medical college, funded through a major donation from Jugal Kishore Taneja, an entrepreneur based in Tampa, Florida.

Before Sri Siddheshwar’s discourse, one of his trained facilitators, Shilpa Mehta, led a 30-minute guided meditation. The session served as a prelude to “Siddhasana – The Power of Soul,” a four-hour intensive retreat held the following day in New Hyde Park on Long Island.

Organizers said a feature-length documentary on Sri Siddheshwar, titled Siddhi and directed by filmmaker Neha Lohia, is also ready for release.

The event was organized by the New York-based World Spiritual Forum, which promotes and disseminates the teachings of Siddhguru Siddheshwar.
