Starbucks Co-Founder Enjoys Filter Coffee in Bengaluru

BENGALURU, (IANS) – Starbucks co-founder Zev Siegl visited Bengaluru’s heritage restaurant Vidyarthi Bhavan on the sidelines of the Global Investors’ Meet and enjoyed its famous masala dosa and filter coffee.

Seigl in his note in the guest book of the eatery mentioned, “It is an honor to enjoy your famous food, coffee, and warm welcome. I will take this wonderful experience with me back to Seattle. Thank you.”

He gave three stars to the restaurant.

Seigl took a tour of the restaurant and posed with staff members.

On social media, one commented, “Guess he has realized what real coffee tastes like!!!”

Another wag commented, “Must be the first time he’s had true coffee.”

  • I was in Chennai few years ago. I tried filter coffee. I loved it so much that I could not get enough. So, I can understand where Zev is coming from. I wish Starbucks will start offering filter coffee in the US.
