Tabu Spotted In Dune Teaser

LOS ANGELES, CA (ANI) – While fans were disappointed not to see Tabu in the first teaser of the prequel series Dune: Prophecy, the second teaser offers a brief glimpse of the actor. The series centers on the Harkonnen sisters – played by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams – as they strive to protect humanity and lay the foundations for an all-woman order.

Tabu acts as Sister Francesca, and her role is not yet clear to viewers but she is the great love of the emperor and her image seems powerful.

Tabu explored western cinema for the first time in 2006 with The Namesake. Directed by Mira Nair, the film, which also starred Irrfan Khan, opened to positive reviews, and was lauded by almost every critic across the globe. Her second film Life of Pi (2012), went a step ahead, and won four Oscars, including the Best Director for Ang Lee.
