Tom Hardy Of “Mobland” Wants To Visit India
NEW YORK, NY (ANI)– Hollywood actor Tom Hardy has expressed his desire to visit India, stating it’s something he “really wants to do in life.” This aspiration comes as Hardy is gaining acclaim for his role in the new gangster drama “MobLand.”
In “MobLand,” Hardy stars alongside veteran actors Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Hardy spoke highly of his experience working with Brosnan, noting, “I’ve wanted to work with Pierce Brosnan for a long time, and I went to the same drama school as him, so it was a privilege to work with him because he’s a fantastic actor. He’s got such range, he’s really professional, and he’s got lots of versatility, and he’s a super smart and wicked actor. I had a great time with him.”
The series also reunites Hardy with director Guy Ritchie, whom he previously worked with on 2008’s “RocknRolla.” Hardy remarked, “I love Guy Ritchie. I’ve wanted to work with him for ages since I did RocknRolla. So, it was brilliant to be able to get back to work with him and have a bit more meat on the bone.”
“MobLand” centers on a London-based Irish crime family led by Brosnan’s character, Conrad, as they navigate a power struggle with a global syndicate. Mirren portrays Maeve, Conrad’s wife, while Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the family’s fixer.
“MobLand” premiered on March 30, 2025, and is available for streaming on Paramount+ and JioCinema. Hardy’s extensive filmography has earned him a significant global fanbase, including in India.
