Trisha Krishnan Calls Out “Stupidity” In Cryptic Social Media Post
CHENNAI – Actress Trisha Krishnan has addressed the “loud stupidity” of recent public remarks following her appearance with actor-politician Vijay at a high-profile reception. The event, which drew significant attention as it occurred shortly after reports surfaced regarding Vijay’s divorce from Sangeetha Sornalingam, saw the two stars arriving together, posing for photos with the newlyweds, and departing the venue at the same time.
The controversy began when filmmaker R. Parthiban, speaking at a separate award ceremony, reacted to a photo of Trisha by referencing her famous role as Kundavai. “This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That’s good. Don’t let her come out,” Parthiban remarked.
While Trisha’s subsequent social media post did not name Parthiban directly, she criticized the “crude words” used by an individual who she claimed had his assistant request that her name and image be included in his segment at the last minute. “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous; it just makes stupidity louder,” she wrote, adding that such remarks reflect more on the speaker than the target.
