Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ Crosses Rs 100 Crore

MUMBAI (ANI)- Vicky Kaushal’s latest film, Chhaava, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office.

The film, which opened to a positive response, has been enjoying a strong run since its release on February 14. It collected Rs 121.43 crore in its opening weekend, surpassing pre-release predictions.

A period drama, the film portrays the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Vicky Kaushal earning praise for his portrayal of the Maratha ruler.

Kaushalhas described the role as his “toughest” yet, requiring immense physical and mental preparation. “Playing such a historical figure requires a lot of discipline. It’s not just a one-month commitment; it’s a journey of one and a half to two years,” he said.

Chhaava also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
