Vishal Dadlani Promises Job To CISF Guard Who Slapped Kangana
MUMBAI – Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport on June 6 for her anti-farmer comments. Bollywood singer and composer Vishal Dadlani has spoken out in favor of the CISF guard, Kulwinder Kaur, who slapped Ranaut during the security check at the airport in response to Ranaut’s remarks against the farmers’ protest in 2020-21.
Dadlani shared a video of the incident and wrote, “I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need for this @official_cisf personnel’s anger.” He added, “If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”
Due to the attack, CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur was immediately detained and later suspended after an FIR was lodged against her.
Hours after the incident, a newly elected MP issued a video statement assuring her fans and followers that she was safe. “I am safe, but I am concerned about the terrorism and extremism that is increasing in Punjab,” she said in the video.
