32 Lawmakers Back Raja’s US Senate Run

SCHAUMBURG, IL– 32 current and former members of the U.S. House of Representatives have endorsed Democrat Raja Krishnamoorthi, in his bid for the US Senate, launching a coalition titled “Reps for Raja,” his campaign announced February 11.
The endorsements bring together lawmakers from across regions, generations, and ideological currents within the Democratic caucus, underscoring Krishnamoorthi’s standing among colleagues who have worked with him in Congress, the campaign said.
“I am humbled and honored that so many of my colleagues across the Democratic caucus have chosen to endorse my campaign for US Senate,” Krishnamoorthi said in a statement. “We’ve worked together to deliver results on issues that matter to working families, and they know firsthand what it takes to move past gridlock and secure meaningful outcomes.”
The backing comes in a contested Democratic primary.
