ORLANDO, FL – 99-year-old Daibai is now an American citizen. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced this milestone, praising Daibai for her liveliness.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), USCIS shared the heartwarming news, stating, “They say age is just a number. That seems true for this lively 99-year-old who became a #NewUSCitizen in our Orlando office. Daibai is from India and was excited to take the Oath of Allegiance.”

The USCIS captured the sweet moment when the nonagenarian, seated in a wheelchair, proudly posing with her citizenship certificate alongside her daughter and the officer who administered the oath.
