Lisa Haydon Shares Memories Of Her Indian-Australian Upbringing
MUMBAI- Actress Lisa Haydon has reflected on her multicultural upbringing, sharing memories of growing up with an Indian father and an Australian mother and how both cultures shaped her childhood.
In a post featuring photos and videos from Australia, the ‘Housefull 3’ actress revealed that she was raised in Mumbai before her family moved to Australia shortly before her mother’s death a decade ago.
Recalling her childhood, she shared memories of swimming at Australian beaches, spending summers with cousins and enjoying family traditions that left a lasting impression on her.
“My cousins were all blonde and blue-eyed. We hardly looked related, but we were thick as thieves. Some things never change. Being here with my family fills my heart…
“There are so many things I love about Australia that I think are underrated. Yes, the beaches are incredible, but so are the food, the fashion, and the easygoing way of life. This place holds so many of my happiest memories.”
The post also featured candid beach selfies, moments with her children — Zack, Leo and Lara — and photographs with her husband, British businessman Dino Lalvani. (IANS)
