Trump’s Son-In-Law Has A Jaunt In Kerala Accompanied By US Ambassador
ALAPPUZHA-Michael Boulos, the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, was in Kerala’s Alappuzha on August 8, taking a houseboat ride through rain-lashed backwaters amid tight security arrangements by Kerala Police.
Boulos, husband of Tiffany, was accorded State Guest status by the Kerala government, arrived in Alappuzha with an eight-member delegation that included US ambassador to India Sergio Gor.
The Trump family of sons and sons-in-law are known to mix their own business interests with government backing.
With the district witnessing heavy rainfall over the past few days, the main entrance to Punamada Lake was flooded, prompting police to arrange an alternative route to escort him to the houseboat.
Despite the inclement weather, Boulos appeared to enjoy the visit, stepping out onto the deck and waving at onlookers who gathered after news of his arrival spread.
The duo of Gor and Boulos also visited Kochi’s Mattancherry synagogue. (IANS)
