Manoj Dhiman Publishes Two New Works
Jaagte Raho By Manoj Dhiman
LUDHIANA, (ANI) – Manoj Dhiman has authored two new fiction books in Hindi: the novel “Birju Naai Ki Dukan” and the short story collection “Jaagte Raho.”
The stories in “Jaagte Raho” delve deeply into various aspects of life and society, highlighting their inconsistencies and the harsh realities faced by individuals. The collection addresses issues such as religious deceit, political corruption, communal tensions, and false social reforms, showing how these wrongdoings hurt sensitive individuals. The pain and breadth of these experiences are palpable throughout the stories.
Some stories in the collection focus on contemporary politics, illustrating its disconnect from the welfare state concept.
The novel “Birju Naai Ki Dukan” explores the thin line between faith and superstition and exposes societal hypocrisy. Dhiman also addresses the issue of women’s so-called empowerment, critiquing the gap between claims of gender equality and actual empowerment.
Both books, published by New World Publication in Delhi, reflect Dhiman’s concerns about societal evils. A journalist by profession, Dhiman writes his observations and feelings about hurtful events, turning them into creative expressions.
