Boney Kapoor, Daughter Khushi, Inaugurate ‘Sridevi Chowk’

MUMBAI, (ANI) – Sridevi died in 2018 leaving behind a rich legacy and in her honor, ‘Sridevi Chowk’ was inaugurated by her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi in Lokhandwala, here.

On October 12, both of them were emotional. In videos posted on social media Boney can be seen touching Sridevi’s picture while Khushi fights back tears. Shabana Azmi was also present at the inauguration.

The chowk is located at a junction near Sridevi’s longtime residence, Green Acres Tower.

Sridevi was born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963 in Chennai. She married producer Boney in 1996. On February 24, 2018, Sridevi was found dead in a bathtub at a hotel in Dubai.
