Kamala Harris’s Ancestral Village Prays For Her Victory
MADURAI, (ANI) – On election day, special prayers were held for Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in her ancestral village of Thulasendrapuram in Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu.
Organized by the Anukragni organization, founded by Anushanath, the prayers took place on November 5, with locals gathering to pray for Harris’s victory.
“We are hopeful Kamala Harris will win,” said Ballu, founder of Anukragni. “This special puja is for her success, and if she wins, it will be a joyous moment for the entire state.”
Thulasendrapuram holds significance for Harris, as it is the birthplace of her maternal grandfather, PV Gopalan. Harris, if elected, would make history as the first woman president of the United States.
