LOS ANGELES, CA — Jasveen Sangha built a reputation in Los Angeles nightlife circles – and has now been dubbed the “Ketamine Queen,” – living what prosecutors describe as a jetsetter lifestyle while running a drug operation from her North Hollywood home. Now she has admitted in federal court that her actions directly contributed to the death of actor Matthew Perry.
On September 3, the 42-year-old dual U.S. and U.K. citizen pleaded guilty to five federal charges, including maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of ketamine distribution, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious injury. She faces a possible 65-year prison sentence at her December 10 hearing.
Federal prosecutors say Sangha’s house functioned as a “drug-selling emporium,” where ketamine was packaged and distributed. Dubbed the “Sangha Stash House” in court filings, the property became central to an indictment that painted her as a high-volume supplier.
Sangha, who has been held in federal custody since August 2024, worked closely with a man named Erik Fleming. According to her plea agreement, the pair delivered 51 vials of ketamine to Perry through his personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, in October 2023. Iwamasa allegedly injected the actor multiple times in the days leading up to his death — including three injections on October 28, the day Perry was found unresponsive in his pool.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death accidental, noting that the amount of ketamine in Perry’s body was on par with levels used during anesthesia. Perry, 54, had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to address depression and anxiety.
