Xavier University To Name Auditorium After Bhat Family Following $1.5 Million Gift

NEW YORK, NY – Philanthropists Dr. Ganesh Bhat and Srimathi Bhat have contributed $1.5 million to Xavier Foundation, toward the development of Xavier University’s new academic campus.

Xavier University President Ravi Bhooplapur announced the gift, confirming that the university’s new auditorium will be named in the couple’s honor. The venue is expected to host academic ceremonies, guest lectures, and international conferences.

Bhat, who serves as the university’s chancellor, has played a significant role in the institution’s academic growth and global outreach. University leaders said the donation reflects the Bhats’ long-standing commitment to the education and training of future physicians and healthcare professionals.
