LOS ANGELES, CA – Renowned composer and recording artist A.R. Rahman is set to embark on a 16-city North American tour, The Wonderment Tour, bringing his immersive live concert experience to audiences across the U.S. and Canada. The tour kicks off on July 18 in Vancouver, BC, with stops in major cities including Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York.
With a career spanning over 150 films and an estimated 200 million record sales, Rahman remains one of the world’s most celebrated musicians. His groundbreaking work on Slumdog Millionaire earned him two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA, cementing his legacy in global music.
Known for blending classical Indian traditions with contemporary electronic and orchestral elements, Rahman has revolutionized Indian film music. The Wonderment Tour promises an enhanced concert experience with cutting-edge visuals, orchestration, and immersive storytelling—much like his pioneering work on the VR project Le Musk.
Tickets for The Wonderment Tour go on sale March 28 at 10:00 AM ET, with presales beginning March 25. The tour will take audiences on a multi-sensory journey featuring Rahman’s biggest hits in Hindi, Tamil, and English. The setlist includes iconic songs such as “Jai Ho,” “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” “Uyire,” and “Urvashi Urvashi,” offering a diverse and culturally rich musical experience.
