MUMBAI Actor Ahan Shetty has reflected on the difficult period he faced after his 2021 debut Tadap as he prepares for the release of his second Bollywood film ‘Border 2.’

Sharing stills from ‘Border 2’ on social media, Ahan spoke about the uncertainty and struggles that followed his first film. “December 3, 2021. ‘Tadap,’ my first film. The beginning of a dream I stepped into with hope, fear, and everything in between,” he wrote. He added that what followed “tested me deeply,” bringing “periods of uncertainty, quiet struggles, and lessons that only time and patience can teach.”

Calling the phase transformative, the actor said every experience helped shape him. “Growth rarely comes without pain, and every moment shaped who I am today,” he said, expressing gratitude for the journey.

Looking ahead, Ahan said he was ready to turn the page with ‘Border 2,’ which releases on January 23, 2026. “A new chapter born from patience, perseverance, and belief. With a fuller heart, steadier faith, and the same dream, now stronger than ever,” he wrote, urging audiences to support the film.

Earlier, at the song launch of ‘Border 2,’ his father and actor Suniel Shetty became emotional while speaking about the challenging phase Ahan went through after his debut. He noted that finding one’s place in the film industry is difficult even for star kids. (IANS)
