Bengaluru Bar Named Among 50 Best In Asia

BENGALURU – In a live awards ceremony held in Hong Kong, the much-anticipated list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars for 2024 was unveiled. Only one Indian bar has made it to the list, which is led by Bar Leone in Hong Kong, Zest in Seoul, and Jigger & Pony in Singapore in third place.

ZLB23, nestled within The Leela Palace Bengaluru, has secured the 40th position and has been named the best bar in India for this year. It is a Kyoto-inspired place and bar supervisor Priyanka Mondal has received acclaim for her innovative creations with a Japanese twist.

To reach ZLB23, patrons embark on a unique journey across a garden space, through the bustling hotel kitchen, and up a service lift. The bar’s entrance, adorned with heavy velvet curtains and crystal chandeliers, exudes an air of secrecy reminiscent of the Prohibition era.

Inside, the vibrant underground atmosphere is complemented by live jazz bands, creating an inviting space for guests to enjoy small bites and meticulously crafted cocktails.
