LONDON – A groundbreaking musical project, “195,” has officially entered the Guinness World Records for featuring the most nationalities to contribute vocals to a single musical recording.

Among the diverse voices in this history-making track is India-born British restaurateur Asma Khan, lending her voice alongside women from 195 countries to advocate for gender equality and the transformative power of sound healing.

A prominent figure in the culinary world, Khan is a celebrated star of Netflix’s Chef’s Table. She is the founder and owner of Darjeeling Express, a renowned London-based Indian restaurant celebrated for its all-female kitchen and authentic homestyle Indian cuisine derived from her family recipes and Kolkata upbringing. TIME magazine has recognized her as one of the world’s 100 most influential people.

The powerful campaign “195” has been conceived and produced by The Frequency School, a collective co-founded by US Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum music producer Maejor, Martina Fuchs, Kingsley M, Brandon Lee, and Aaron Dawson. The song made its impactful debut during the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, early this year.

“It has always been my dream to produce the first song in history featuring every country on the planet,” Fuchs stated. “Our vision was to unite 195 ordinary women from all walks of life in this pioneering and groundbreaking initiative to advocate for gender equality and the rights of women and girls, and to help people struggling with mental health issues.”
