NEW DELHI – Mintage World, the online museum dedicated to coins, stamps, and banknotes, has officially released a coffee table book titled ‘Stamps, Coins, and Banknotes Issued During the Premiership of Shri Narendra Modi.’ The 200-page compilation serves as a visual chronicle, documenting major campaigns and achievements through the legal tender and philatelic releases of the Indian Postal and Mint Departments.

The book focuses on the initiatives implemented during the prime minister’s first tenure from 2014 to 2019. Key national campaigns such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, International Day of Yoga, Women Empowerment, Viksit Bharat, Startup India, and Jan Dhan Yojana are featured in chronological order.

The publication displays stamps of various sizes, shapes, and colors alongside their respective pictorial designs. It also details coins produced across major minting facilities in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Noida, featuring both circulation and commemorative series across multiple denominations. Additionally, bank notes produced at various printing facilities across India are documented to present a comprehensive record for historians and collectors alike.

Sushilkumar Agrawal, a first-generation entrepreneur and CEO of Mintage World, conceived the idea for the project. He noted that the book is a heartfelt tribute intended to create awareness about the legal and commemorative tenders issued for these national projects, adding that no other publication captures these drives so extensively in this specific format.

Production is already underway for the second volume of the book, which will cover the stamps, coins, and banknotes issued during the prime minister’s second tenure from 2020 to 2024. The second part is scheduled for release around his birthday on September 17 later this year.

Mintage World operates as an online museum for ancient and modern currency pieces, aiming to educate the public on the rich historical heritage, tradition, and culture of India and the world.

The publication marks the third coffee table book from the organization. Previously, Mintage World published Global Collectibles of Mahatma Gandhi through Bank Notes, Coins and Stamps, which covers issues from 144 countries, alongside another specialized title, Endangered Parrots of the World on Stamps, Coins and Banknotes.
