Deepika Padukone Stuns at Paris Fashion Week

MUMBAI (IANS) – Deepika Padukone is breaking out internationally making high-profile appearances being the global ambassador for sought-after brands, including Adidas, Levi’s, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier.

She is now at Paris Fashion Week, the only Indian celebrity there. She spoke to Brand of Fashion’s digital magazine and said she had always wanted to be a model growing up, and it was her athletic background that contributed in making her who she is today. Her father is the famed Prakash Padukone.

Brands seem to have sensed her value as a brand herself.

Deepika Padukone is a multilayered actress, creative and philanthropist with an open-minded, outspoken nature which has made her resonant beyond any borders,” said Arnaud Carrez, chief marketing officer of Cartier told BOF.

Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in ‘Gehraiyaan,’ has the Nag Ashwin feature, ‘The Intern’s’ Hindi remake, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ and Hrithik Roshan actioner ‘Fighter’ lined up. She will also star in and produce an upcoming Hollywood project, described as a ‘cross-cultural romantic-comedy’.
