Epstein’s Brother Slams Kash Patel For Dismissing Epstein Murder Theories
India-West News Desk
NEW YORK, NY – Kash Patel is facing backlash from Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, who refuses to believe the disgraced financier died by suicide. Mark Epstein blasted the FBI official for dismissing widespread conspiracy theories surrounding his brother’s 2019 death at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
“He wasn’t there, he didn’t see the body, he didn’t see the autopsy,” Mark told the Daily Mail, rejecting Patel’s recent comments. “He has no idea what the f—k he’s talking about.”
Mark Epstein said he wishes he could believe the suicide narrative — but the facts, he insists, don’t add up. “It would be a lot easier for me if I thought it was suicide,” he said. “But there’s a long list of things that point away from it.”
The criticism comes after Patel appeared on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, telling viewers he had no doubt about what happened. “As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who’s been in that prison system… you know a suicide when you see one,” Patel said. “And that’s what that was.”
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino backed Patel’s assessment. “He killed himself,” Bongino said. “I have seen the whole file. He killed himself.”
But Mark Epstein isn’t buying it. He pointed to what he sees as massive security failures, saying, “There are six levels of security in that prison before you get to that tier.”
As The New York Post reports, Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, with bedsheets wrapped around his neck — just over a month after being arrested on federal sex-trafficking charges. Though his death was officially ruled a suicide, doubts and conspiracy theories have persisted for years.
