Govinda Remains Under Close Medical Supervision After Collapsing At Home

MUMBAI- Govinda was rushed to the hospital in Juhu, on November 12 after he reportedly lost consciousness at his residence in the early hours. The 61-year-old star is currently under close medical supervision, with doctors monitoring his condition.

The news was confirmed by Govinda’s friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal. Bindal stated that the actor initially received medication following a telephonic consultation but was later rushed to the hospital around 1 a.m. for emergency treatment after becoming unconscious. Govinda is currently under observation.

The hospitalization comes just a day after Govinda visited veteran actor Dharmendra, who is currently recovering at home after being discharged from hospital. 

This is the second time Govinda has been admitted to the same hospital within a year. In October last year, he suffered a leg injury when his licensed revolver accidentally discharged as he was putting it away around 5 a.m. at his residence. The ‘Hero No 1’ actor underwent an hour-long surgery in the ICU to remove the bullet. (IANS)
