Hamid Daudani’s New Theater Production Plays On May 3 In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA – Hamid Daudani & Group’s 29th theater production set to premiere on May 3 at the Joan Kroc Theatre here, delves deep into the complexities of tradition, progress, and the universal quest for respect and love.
Titled “Manzil Pyaar Ki”, this play in Hindi promises to be a thought-provoking journey through the life of a courageous woman striving to carve out her place in a community steeped in age-old customs. The narrative centers around the protagonist, Sheena, who arrives in the town with her daughter, determined to establish here. She is looking for love and respect. However, as she immerses herself in the fabric of the community, Sheena finds herself trapped in a web of conflicting ideologies. Her progressive views clash with the deeply ingrained traditions of the village.
Manzil Pyaar ki promises to be a powerful drama that will keep the audience involved with well-knitted story and its climax. Beautiful dances will add to its presentation, a press release said.
Hamid Daudani, as a writer and director, is leading the talented ensemble cast. Daudani is assisted by Rashmi Savgur.
