Kapil Sharma Returns With ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’
MUMBAI (ANI)– Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is set to reprise his role in the sequel to his 2015 debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
The original film, directed by Abbas-Mustan, followed Sharma’s character juggling multiple relationships in a hilariously chaotic storyline. The sequel, helmed by Anukalp Goswami, promises a fresh twist with more comedy.
Kapil unveiled the first poster for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, where he appears at the altar in a white sherwani, removing his floral sehra with a mix of confusion and surprise. Beside him, his bride, dressed in a blue lehenga, remains partially veiled.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s first look, calling it a surprise Eid gift from Kapil. The sequel stars Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh and is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan.
While Abbas-Mustan will not direct the sequel, they remain involved as co-producers. Anukalp Goswami, known for his writing on the original film and The Kapil Sharma Show, takes on directorial duties.
The first installment followed Kapil’s character, Shiv Ram Kishan, as he unknowingly married three women while maintaining a relationship with his girlfriend. The original cast included Elli AvrRam, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, and Sai Lokur.
