Nandita Das Invited To Be On Busan Film Festival Jury

MUMBAI – Acclaimed director, actor, writer, and producer Nandita Das is set to head to the prestigious Busan Film Festival, where she will serve on the jury this year. The festival is one of Asia’s most prominent cinematic events.

Expressing her excitement about the invitation, Das wrote, “In the midst of many stresses of work and life, I know this experience will be a burst of creative stimulus, it’ll be nourishing.” She added that she “can’t wait to watch good films in a pin drop dark hall and have the most exciting jury deliberations after.”

Das emphasized her anticipation for the full experience of the festival, including the films, people, and food, as well as the conversations with other filmmakers and cinephiles. She looks forward to “meeting wonderful friends yet again from all over the world.”

Das also promised to share details of her experience with her fans back home.
