Nora Fatehi Unveils ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa,’ A Dialog-Free Comedy

MUMBAI Actress Nora Fatehi recently revealed details about her upcoming film, ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa,’ through a quirky social media post. She shared a picture of herself on a yellow scooter, surrounded by scattered 2000-rupee notes, reminiscent of a scene from the film ‘3 Idiots.’ In the movie, Fatehi plays Kamini, a chaotic and confused neighbor.

Shot during the end of the pandemic, Fatehi noted the unique nature of the film, which was made without any dialogue. She expressed her excitement to see the final cut.

The makers have also released character posters for the rest of the cast. A poster featuring actress Nushrratt Bharuccha shows her as a naive Indian married woman. Other posters introduce Sohum Shah as Kesari Lal Singh, an employee at the electricity department, and Omkar Kapoor as a police officer. Each poster was captioned, “Meet our silent heroes. #SiyapaaSquad.”

Written and directed by G Ashok, and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under Luv Films, the movie features music composed by AR Rahman. ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa’ is scheduled for a September 5 release. (IANS)
