Preity Zinta Shares Heartwarming Moment With Virat Kohli

NEW DELHI (ANI)- Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta is known for her active presence on social media, often sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the IPL 2025 tournament. After each match, Preity makes it a point to interact with players from both her team and the opposition.

Recently, her interaction with star batter Virat Kohli, following the Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore match in Mullanpur, went viral. In the pictures, Preity and Virat can be seen laughing as they look at a mobile phone. During a fan Q&A session on X on April 28, the ‘Veer-Zaara’ actress revealed that the moment was captured when they were showing each other pictures of their children.

Preity also shared her admiration for Virat’s personal growth over the years. “We were showing each other pictures of our children & talking about them! Time does fly… When I first met Virat 18 years ago, he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent & fire—today he still has that fire, and is an icon and a very sweet & doting father,” she posted.

In a playful mood, Preity responded candidly to other questions, including one about a rumored tradition of cooking parathas for Punjab Kings when they win. She laughed, saying, “No, but according to the memes, I do.”

Currently, Punjab Kings is in fifth place on the points table. Their next match is against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on April 30.
